I am delighted to announce a Sea Gypsies gig in London on December 1st 2009. Join us if you will at Archangel 11-13 Kensington High Street at 8pm as our plucky little trio sets out to make it's mark on the giant metropolis.
We will be offering the European cognoscenti, a 'version intimae' of the summer set! Back on our old stomping ground, Luke, Dorie and I will perform the core songs from our Water Taxi L.P. and a few carefully selected highlights of yester-yore.
Shanties from the Barbary coast, Close Arcadian harmonies and fancy folksy fretwork, these strict disciplines can take it out of a chap but the fluent skills of our well trained cocktail staff will soothe even the most furrowed brow.
Visit our record shack staffed by the fragrant Sirens of PCM and mix with like-minded aficionados in an atmosphere of sophisticated urbanity!
If you want to meet the group in person, I'll be the one with the sandwich board marching up and down High Street Ken from four o'clock with a wild look in his eyes!
